Pelvic Floor / Incontinence

Are You Suffering in Silence?
Many women struggle with unique pelvic floor conditions that significantly impact their daily lives, often without knowing where to turn for help. Fortunately, in the vast majority of cases, effective and lasting solutions are available.

WHAT IS THE PELVIC FLOOR AND PELVIC FLOOR DYSFUNCTION?
Pelvic floor dysfunction occurs when the muscles and connective tissues (ligaments) of the pelvic floor cannot coordinate properly, becoming either too tight (hypertonic) or too loose (hypotonic/flaccid).

This lack of coordination can disrupt essential bodily functions, leading to a wide range of uncomfortable and distressing symptoms, including:

  • Urinary issues: Frequent urination, an inability to reach the toilet in time (urgency), or urinary leakage (incontinence) brought on by coughing, sneezing, laughing, squatting, or running.
  • Bowel & structural concerns: Chronic constipation or consistently passing gas from the vagina or anus when bending forward.
  • Pain & sensory changes: Persistent pelvic floor pain or significantly reduced sensation in the vagina.
  • Intimacy challenges: Discomfort, pain, or an inability to comfortably participate in sexual activity.
