Biography
Ola graduated from the University Of Ibadan, Nigeria in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy. She completed a Masters Degree in human kinetics and exercise education in 2000.
She also completed a Masters Degree in Public Health in 2011; with focus on the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions in improving quality of life.
She moved to the United Kingdom in 2000 with her family and had the opportunity of working in orthopedic, neurology and medical wards of Ashton, Wigan and Leigh NHS hospital. From this work.
She gained valuable experience in treating various conditions. While working in this hospital she developed an interest in working with seniors who have neurological problems. This led her to take a position in the community treating elderly people in their homes, residential care, and nursing facilities.
Having enjoyed the quality one-on-one care provided to this clientele, Ola continued working in home care, residential and nursing facilities after she relocated to Canada with her family.
Providing quality therapeutic treatment tailored to each clients needs, with the main objective of improving their overall quality of life, is rewarding and fulfilling for her.
Ola started Active Seniors Physio company with her colleagues with the hope of providing many other Seniors in their homes and in a facility with quality Physiotherapy care.
